Oh yeah unmarried is definitely key in your collection. My wife prefers shoes over Mustangs. Biggrin

Wow, A long time since I've been here. Well, the 72 HO is now painted. Unfortunately it's in Spokane and I have no pics to post yet. My Q code 72 convertible is with the painter now. He painted my 70 drag pak Torino Cobra first and I really liked how it turned out so I had him do the 72 R code after that.

I have a question if any one can help.....

The 72 convert has a 4Q, Ford #3542-A paint code and a CA trim code according to the deluxe Marti. I know that the 4Q is for dark green metallic but what is the #3542 for? It's one of only 59 with that paint/Trim code. When I got the car it had Mach I hood and side decals and a front spoiler and rear wing. Did ANY convertibles come with that combo?? I know my 72 R code had a two part paint code as well. When it was sanded down it had a metallic gold rocker color below some narrow trim. The convertible has no such trim present. The R codes code was 4C, Ford #5072-A with an AA trim code. Any Ideas???SCo_hmmthink

Wow sorry I missed your first post. You have one Fine group of Mach 1's and other great Fords. The pics are great! Ican see where the unmarried thing has it's advantages(money). As I have a wife of 30 years and 5 kids. They have definetly put a kink in my car plans several times! But it's been good times and I wouldn't trade them for all the money or Mach1's in the world. If you want, I can go by and take some pics and post them up here. Is it at Andy's?

Hey Steve! How you doing? Naa, it's jammed in there. The painter, Rich, needs to put on the decals first anyway. Thanx for the offer though....

I'm going to take some pics of the 70 Cobra though, it's down here. We just got the decals and emblems on it the other day. Mabey I'll put some up of it if anyone is interested....It's not a Mach I ...Naughty
But.....
here's some of the CSGT.

Nice CS! I've always liked that color. Are you going to put the striping back on it? I'd say post pics of the Cobra. What the heck. If you need any inside or outside trim for it, let me know. I bought a "package deal" of stuff for my '69 and it had some '70-'71 stuff in with it. PM me if you need anything.
