hi guys
I have a question... my car is a 72 mach 1 /351cj/C6/3,25 traction loc..and I want to know the stock stall speed (torque converter) on that car .
many says that on 72 CJ ford put an High stall speed converter about 2800 is it right.?. .I had a firebird before and with the mach I have the sensation I have to go higher/RPM's to make the car move I am not so kind with that feeling..and with the 3,25 highway speed is high/ RPM .
I want to put a lower stall speed converter (1800) on the car. I use it mainly as a cruiser and the engine is stock.. .. I guess too low is not good with the cleveland.
what do you think? wrong idea?
