Greetings from Oz. This looks like the quality site that I have been searching for re the Mustang Mach 1.
Recently retired from the transport industry, I have started to restore a 1972 Mach 1 - 351 Cleveland with Auto that I have owned for the past 22 years. The first 12 years were regular commute and the past 10 have been in storage.
It has now had a paint resto inside and out from a back to metal shell and the Grabber Blue with Argent bonnet and lower trim looks immaculate.
My problem at this point and whilst it is still at the paint shop is determining the correct colour for the rear spoiler.
Is the correct colour for my spoiler an Argent Silver or were they colour coded to the main colour of Grabber Blue?
As I am restoring it to original and the spoiler was not on the car in the first place, I have no guidelines or pics to base this decision. Just much advice from people who advise black, blue or silver and in various finishes.
There are not many 71-73 Mach 1 models out here, especially my colour and I would appreciate advice please. I would really appreciate some pics of other Mach 1's in Grabber Blue/Argent Silver with rear spoilers.
Will post some pics of the machine when complete.

I am positive that the Grabber Blue with Argent accent cars had both the front and rear spoiler painted in the argent color.

To be absolutely sure, PM of e-mail Don Witt at Ohio Mustang Supply and he will have a definitive answer for you.

        Trevor: Per your question, I just finished a 1972 Mach 1 in Bright Blue Metallic. I painted both spoilers in argent as this was factory. The sold has been sold but was featured in www.hemmings.com
I'm attaching a few pix that I took with a cheap camera. near my home.

Thank you Ponypastor. I knew your car was Argent colored for both spoilers but I could not guarantee that that was a factory choice. Glad to hear that it has sold. Have you found your new project yet?
