Hello All,
Just found your forum and figured I would come in and look around. I own an early, San Jose built (10/1/68) 390, 69 Mach 1 that I am currently restoring to near original condition. Its a Silver Jade with white interior, PS, PDB, C6,fold down, shaker, S code.

My first car was a Black Jade 69 Mach 1 Q code, 428CJ that I somehow convinced my Dad to let me buy back in 1972. I managed not to kill myself in it and drove it all through high school. After high school I joined the Air Force, sold the 69 (kicking myself ever since) and bought a 70 Mach 1 with a 351C (at the time I thought the 351 would be better on gas). I always loved that 69, and although my current Mach isn't a CJ I won't be letting it go anytime soon.

Glad to have you here with us. So it isn't the Q-code but I know a lot of people jealous of you and your ownership of a 390 Mach 1. I don't know the numbers for the 1969 cars but I do know that a 390 Mach 1 is a rarer beast. Maybe somebody here can give us the numbers.

Of course here again rarer does not necessarily equate greater value but ...
