Bought Thursday it as ready to drive numbers matching, paid $30K

Drove it home Thursday, one mile into drive lost third gear. its being looked at now' LOFL

Also has 14" Magnum 500s instead of 15"s

How long have you been looking for a new Mach 1? Where / how did you find this one. Thanks for sharing what you paid for it. That information will help us help others who are either selling or buying.

For 30k you stole it. A Tranny isn't nothing! Plan on taking care of this jewel and it will pay you back in time! Boss Mustangs are totally on the rise.

Thanks for the replies.

Turns out tranny was maladjusted shifter, thankfully.

Saw it parked in Guelph with a window sign, went from there. Appraisal is $35k with proper wheels and louvers.

Waiting on new wheels and rubber, current tires are from 1986 and not road worthy (from the age of them, but they look fine). We are getting new Pittman arm and lower ball joints, though it is drivable as is.

I am getting 15x8 Magnum 500s with appropriate brand new rubber.

I will be selling the 14" Magnum 500s when the new ones come in.

I kind of thought that an adjustment would be all that would be needed and I am glad to hear that is the case. It is a beautiful car. Great find.
