    Hi y'all.
My ride is a 1971 Mach 1, 351c 2v. Came here to London in 1973 from New York. Originally metallic blue with the two tone blue vinyl interior. Exterior is now black and white with a blue and black interior. Had the car 24 years now and is still 'work in progress!' Just can't take it off the road for too long at a time as I love driving it so muchBiggrin!
Will post a couple more pictures when I have time.
All the best,
Dave.

Welcome to the site. Great to have a long time owner join. Feel free to jump in with any advice or any questions! I'm partial to the white!

Welcome Dave,

I agree with Rare Pony. Glad to have another long term owner along for the ride.

Like the others, I am looking forward to hearing more about your car and your long term ownership. Got to appreciate someone that loves the car so much that it is hard to take it off the road!

Thanks guys.
Looking forward to joining the forums. Unfortunately my beloved Mach 1 will have to come off the road for a couple of weeks soon, as I plan to replace the floorpans and the drivers side rear wheel arch/quarter panel, as it has really bubbled up since that photo was taken! Bought a nice '94 Mustang just to see me through the trauma (couldn't afford another Mach 1 unfortunately!).
All the best,
Dave.

Thank you for the pictures.

Looking forward to your future post. Please post up your repairs on your floor pan and rear quarter work.

Welcome to the site, be sure to keep us updated on the "work in proces" Sometimes it makes alot more sence to continue to drive and enjoy your Stang then to completely take it apart for years and years :)

alright another long time owner.yes we are the smartest because we listened to our elders when they said should have never got rid of that one.i can maybe see why your accelerator got stuck that return spring bracket looks a bit edgy.i also was not allowed to race with a plastic fuel filter.but that was a chevy.it should have burned.great looking ride.welcome to the club.
