Don,
When you "slapped" it into place did you notice it "fall" into place? Does the glass site at the same plane as the extension of the window frame or does it sit just above it? Do you happen to have any pictures?
Thank you.

Yes I did like the write up! Thanks for the input everyone. I put it back in last night and I am giving it till tomorrow before I test it. I used the right sealant "bedding Glaze". I can't see how it could leak now. My mistake was I used adhesive that is designed to hold seals like the trunk seal in place, rookie mistake! I hope it turns out good this time . I will let you all know how it turns out and as promised upload some pics soon. Thanks all, this is a great forum!

Shane, I am looking forward to your pictures and test outcome.
I posted my preparations in this thread: http://mach1club.com/showthread.php?tid=2775
And then some pictures of the install in this thread: http://mach1club.com/showthread.php?tid=2915
But I have not sealed the rear window as of yet. It is just sitting in the channel with the new rubber.

Well I am about a $100 into sealant and new chrome trim an I am bummed to say still leaks very bad in the bottom corners. I am doing something wrong for sure, but just don't see what. I am sorry I will get pics soon, I'm in the military and been pretty busy with work sorry. I hate to do it, but I guess I will toss in the towel and have it done professionally. Thanks for the support. Pics to come.

Shane, sorry to hear of the lack of success in the rear window install.
If you do have it "professionally" installed hopefully you will be around to take pictures and document their process for the rest of us who will follow.

Update on the rear window! Before giving up I decided to do what I had read while doing my research and put a little Bedding Caulk inside the lip of the seal along the bottom. I am happy to say it is not leaking anymore.
I finally got the locks, handles, and side glass in.
