This is my first attempt at restoring a 73 Mach 1 that has been in the family since the 80's . This is the 302 2v powered Mach 1. Red. I am currently in the reassembly phase and am having the usual problems locating the A pillar trim and other hard to find items.

I look forward to sharing info with all of you, but I think that I will be getting a lot more information from all of you than the other way around!

Welcome 1973Mach1,

Glad to have you here with us.

Your right, some of those items are hard to locate. Try Don Witt at Ohio Mustang Supply if you haven't already: http://www.ohiomustang.com/

I am sure that you will be a help to us and we hope to help you as needed. Post some pictures of your work - we love history.

Welcome to the club! I also had a hard time finding interior A pillar trim for mine.....thanks to ponypaster, I was able to get the drivers side at an excellent price, but ended up having to get the passenger side from Mustang Masters in Florida, but it was expensive.....Nevertheless, if you end up not being able to find them, here's the site.... http://www.mustangmasters.com/ Best of luck with your restoration

its a story i am getting use to around here.i also bought a mach in the 80,s and have been fortunate enough to hang on to it all these years.im not really sure what a pillar trim is but i can guess its the piece that goes along the top of the roof down to the rear window that does not roll down.posting pics is something i need to do to.welcome to the club
