Hey, all. Had a mach1 20 years ago and finally got one again, totally disassembled (1971) needing lots of tlc. Found it in the bush north of Whitehorse in the Yukon. Looking forward to checking out the site more. I'll post some pics later. Cheers!

Hey Yukon - Great to have you here!
Wow, that is way up north! I am anxious to see how your Mustang fared all this time that far up north. Being born in the tropics and having lived most of my live in warm (read extremely hot) climates I have always wondered how in the world I could every make it if I found myself in cold country. My parents used to live in Canada and when I would visit them in the winter I wondered that many times. I now know the answer - take a stock of Mach 1's with me to work on in a garage and never worry about what it looks like outside. I could hibernate like that for the whole winter!
It is really great to have you with us here and I am anxious to see your pictures and follow your progress.

Welcome to the club! Looks like you've got a pretty good base for a solid car. I also like the Firebird with the t-tops in the background! One of my favorite cars is the Pontiac Firebird.
Dont be a stranger feel free to jump on in and contribute! Be sure to document the progress of your Mach alsong the way and share that progress as you go.
Mach1Club's goal is to provide sort of a museum of all things Mach 1, for enthusiasts now and into the future!
Glad you signed up!

Yukon,
That looks like a surprisingly straight and solid car.
Did all the parts come with it? It also looks to be originally green which is a popular color for the Mach 1 at this point in time. Do you know what your cars options were/are?
Way to go - good find.

Welcome to the site from Virginia. The body actually looks pretty solid. If previous work was done it looks like it held up well.
Keep the pictures and you may be our north most member. Post you general location on our Mach 1 Locater map at the link:

The link is also located at the top of the web page as Mach 1 Locater.

Yes, it was grabber green with a white interior and it will be again. Bodywork that was done looks good, trunk floor is rotten and a couple holes in the floorboards, not too bad. I got a trailer full of parts, it's all supposed to be there but I haven't been through the whole thing yet lol. I ordered a Marti report for it, when I get it I'll put it on here. Cheers!

Hey just the fact that you have a poly urethane bumper is a find in itself!
