Official Build - '70 Chevelle + '00 Corvette = '70 CheVette
#21
Your right about the emblem! I do see some resemblance between your project and an old Chevette! Undecided

Its funny, I just did a spell check and the dictionary did not recognize Chevette; the recommended correction for Chevette was Corvette!!!

WOW
That was ALOT of pictures
Was waiting for the message to come up saying I posted to many and it hasnt happened yet LOL

Lots has changed since the last post. Took it for a drive this past weekend and its AWSOME!!!! Could be one of the kewlest cars I have driven (ya I said it)

This is probably the last update till Spring.....the work shop is being turned into Storage for the winter so no work will be done till spring. Come spring disassembly will start and making it pretty will begin.

Hope the pictures are enjoyed.....look forward to + or - comments....

Thanks for the comments. We still have ALOT of work to do before its show worthy but it was nice to be able to take it out for a spin to make sure it was actually going to work. Nothing worse then spending months on something then finding out you made a mistake and there is no way its going to work.

Amazing enough there was no issues on the first test drive. Pretty amazing actually after what all has been done.

Sure is going to get people taking a 2nd look though.

:)

No Fuel Cell.....

Corvette uses saddle tanks behind the seats. They are behind the Aluminum covers shown in this picture

They are still there :) We had to put the filler neck in the truck cause we didnt want a filler door on the rear 1/4.
