I just reinstalled my Cleveland into my 1970 Mach 1. When I removed it I thought I had everything tagged but it has been a few years since i removed it. There are 2 wires i can't figure out where they go. They are both single wires. 1 is lime green going going to a black connector then it is a black wire to another black connector female. The second is blue going to a white connector then a black wire to a black female connector. any ideas? Both wires are coming from the harness on the firewall.

Do either wire have tracer stripes on them? If so, what color? Pictures would help alot.
I'm pretty sure that the only blue wires coming out of the bulkhead harness from the firewall go to the horns on my '71. Hope this helps.

Now we will see how many good auto electricians (or auto sparkies for those down under ) we have. Hopefully we will come up with your needed answer.
Sorry - I am of no help.

I will take a shot here...the green wire may be the 16 guage #998 for the A/C Compresor clutch solenoid..it is supposed to originate at the A/C Compressor and terminate at the De-Icing switch. Does your car have or used to have air conditioning? There is also a light green wire #994 that is 18 guage which originates at the De-Ice switch and terminates at the A/C mode switch.
The blue dude should be one of the following...16 guage #977 high speed wiper motor wire terminating at the wiper switch or it could be 14 guage #974 blower motor medium originating at the heat/AC switch and terminating at the blower motor.
Last scenario...at some point over the years someone upgraded/spliced/hacked something in and used some different wires and all the above means absolutely nothing. Hope this helps you.
