Does anyone know if there is a vinal hood black out kit available for a 73 Mach !?

I know you can get the 351 Ram Air decals, but not sure about the whole blackout. Maybe someone else on the site will know.

I think it is a masking kit to show you the out line on how to paint the hood . C . L .

I have never heard of a permanent vinyl kit just the paint masking kit. It could be out there - I have just never heard of it.
Still, in today's computer design age there is someone that can easily do it for you.

Only kit i ever saw was the "paint masking kit".

Can you imagine what a pain in the butt it will be installing a transfer THAT large? Do yourself a favor and get the stencil, paint it. If it's not placed perfectly (one-shot deal) it will be a lesson in humility. Just my humble opinion.

Good call. I had an 07GT that had the black tape/vinyl and it looked great initially but as time goes by it starts looking bad. It also it difficult to deal with when trying to deal with the painted surface right next to the tape, especially when trying to buff the car. Also if the vinyl stains, it cant be removed, at least with paint it can be.
