I am very happy to have found this group. The Mach 1 is my favorite car, any year. I happen to be an admirer and collector of the older vintage. I believe this is the place to learn. Hopefully I can contribute some good stuff. I recently purchased a mostly complete 71 Mach 1 429cj. The car is a barn find of sorts and has been sitting in the same structure since 1981. I am hoping to learn about this car and find a couple of original parts for it. Looking forward to joining in!

Absolutely - jump on in. Glad you have found us and we are glad to have you here. Your "barn find" sounds like a great find. It should not be too bad considering it was only ten years old when stored and has been there ever since.
We are anxious to see the new addition.
