Hi everyone!
Im a No0b (obviously)
My name is April, Im 27 and love Mustangs Mach 1's tho most tho!
I have 2 Mustangs right now A 1971 Mach 1 that was my moms car, and my 1996 Mustang V6 5 speed coupe.
The 96 I want to make a Mach 1 clone, or what I think a 96 Mach 1 might have looked like if they made one for that year.
someone on here found me on cardomain and said I should sign up, so here I am

A while back Cardomain did a little spotlight thing on me that I dident even know about till I was googling 71 mach 1's , so that was a nice surprise!

Thxs April for sharing! I'm so glad you decided to come around. If you've had a chance to look thru the site already you will see I just started this place in August 09 so its probably going to take a little bit to get this going. Slowly but surely people are starting to come around. Once the guys know a female actually took the time to sign up it might peak their interest more.

Cool cars btw, Im sorry about your Mom, but in the grand scheme of things she left you something to remember her by always, never let that one leave your side!!

71-73's don't get the respect that they deserve but they are gaining ground, with companies starting to produce repro parts for them you know there's enough interest for them to do it. Id say in the next 10 years 71-73 will get there proper due in classic car opinions especially Mach 1's and Boss Mustangs. For me its not about how valuable the car will be, I just love the challenge of making an old car as new as possible. Its also cool to know, no one really has one overall anyway.

What are your plans for the Mach 1?

Welcome to the site! I too am sorry about your mom but you will always have a great car to remind you of her.

My dad was killed 4 years ago in an accident while officiating at The Pikes Peak Hillclimb in Colorado Springs, and our 69 Mach was one of the things we used to work on together. I have some great memories about that and will always be thankful for the time I had with him.
