Looks great!
Do you actually wash it with water? I never washed my Mach 1 with water or any of my special cars. I always use warm water and microfiber towels. Water is your cars worst enemy. This only matters if it isn't driven in bad weather like rain or snow. Mine never go in the water, unless of course its to claybar, but even then the water is controlled.
My Lincoln Navigator is the work horse so its the only one that gets water and soap poured all over it. The Navigator is the expendable one.
What rims are those?

I usually don't water it down but it was really dirty from sitting all winter. Sprayed it lightly washed it down with microfiber towel then driedwith mi rocker towel and wiped it down again with mothers spray wax stuff??? Now all I do is use the mothers to clean it up when it gets dusty. How does the clay ad work? Always wanted to try it. But never have. Rims are torq thrust d's.

Looks great. Love the color combo. I use the California Duster mop on my 73 Convert. It gets pollen on it just sitting in the garage. It has not been washed or wet wet since it came out of the body shop in March of 2010. I use the spray Meguiars detailer most of the time. Just gave the new paint it's first wax in April.

Clay Bar just gives your paint that glass feeling. When you run the tips of your fingers lightly down the side of the car can you feel imperfections in the paint or grime left in the paint? That's what Clay Bar will remove. It is an art, if done incorrectly it will scratch, you need plenty of water. I actually just use Meguiar's Quik Detail it seems to have more lubrication but most people use water.

A few of us got together the other day and one of the guys said he wasn't sure he should bring his car out he hasn't washed it for a week. I just laughed and said I haven't washed mine for months. I don't want to help the rust
