The drivers side door glass sits to far forward and I can not figure out how to shift it back where it belongs.
The door was replaced by someone and they of course reinstalled the glass , the door has the 70 window set up , any help out there ?

Sorry MyMachone,
I do not have one to look at right now so I cannot help but I will add my note so others will follow. Has the glass been put into the metal correctly or has someone position it too far forward maybe? If so it should be a matter of repositioning it.

Well it's 70 glass which means there are holes in it for the bolts to go through , not sure if thats the issue or not , it could be they set the window to far forward and put it at the wrong hole ?

Is there a possibility the door glass is from a coupe?
As the coupe and convertible have a more up right windshield then the fastback does which would make the glass longer on the front edge? Sounds like you got a door glass for a coupe. It could be the door itself came off a coupe,as the door is the same. But the glass is different. JTS 71 Mach1

Well here's all what happened.
I had a friend repaint car , when in the process he found the drivers door in need of replacement , so a new 69 mach 1 door was ordered from NPD and he installed the glass and the door. So there shouldn't be an issue there.
My problem is he lives 6 hrs away from me and his cell is now off , so i have no way to reach him about this issue.
Leasson here don't use some one that far away for car work period. friend or other wise.
