It's like an addiction. Currently I have four and have had a few others in my past...probably have more in my future. I try to quit but am unsuccessful so I thought I'd join this support group.
I'm new to Mach 1s and recently bought my first one a couple of weeks ago. It has a 3/71 date code which is cool due to my personal date code is 5/71. H code, pwr disc brakes, pwr steer, fmx, has factory tach, std Ginger interior w/ console, white paint. Well that's how it came from the factory anyway according to the Marti report I ordered. The car is now red, has a rebuilt 4-v engine, black interior, no console and needs restoration. The fmx trans is busted.
I want to restore it but for now job 1 is to get a trans in it and make it reliable, then will begin restoration.
My other mustangs are a 65 vert, 93 gt, and 05 vert. My parents bought the 65 new 6 years before I was born.
I live in coastal Alabama.
