Hey Jim, Thanks for loading this "how to".
Next time I get up to my car I'll bring my shift lever back down so that I can do a rebuild and have it ready to go with the FMX.
How's your car coming along? Still swamped at work?

Nice how to. How many years you think this would apply? He mentioned 65-68 Mustangs. Think it goes beyond that?

It looks to be the same basic shifter in my 73. Give me a week or two and I should be back up to Arizona to grab mine and have a go at rebuilding it. I'll let you know at that time.

Good find. I agree, it looks very similar to the 71/73's. The design of the T-handle is a little different, but the restoration should be very similar.

I too believe it goes beyond that Mine is a 69 and the same also.
