Hi I'm from British Columbia Canada Just a ways from Vancouver. I have owned My 70 mach grabber orange since 91 original 351w FMX. It's getting time to restore the car since It was my first try in the early 90s. It has gone on lots of road trips all around western Canada and almost all of the United States. One trip in 96 south to California east to Vegas down to the big easy, north to Atlanta into DC a tour at Dearborn turned for home heading for Reno and last leg north to B.C. 9.846 miles in three weeks three days. It was on the Cover of Mustang Monthly on January 2000. Lots of Movie and TV shows that were produced in this area. My Girl friend and I found here fathers original 69 mach and had to traded a 69 deluxe sportroof for it. He sold it in 72 we found it 22 years later in pieces. Put it together for a few years then 3 & half year ground up restoration to concourse,With help from a good friend. Now my turn to repay him on his second Boss 302 project. Also in the stable 79 Indy pace car,93 Lincoln VIII,91 LX and other ford product.

It was one of 4 left on the west coast when the mustang II came out. I've always wanted a 69 Mach 1, and now that kids are gone, and have some extra time(not according to my wife), I'm fulfilling my childhood dreams. Complete botom up restoration. Nothing untouched. All rebuilt or NOS parts.
Welcome to the club.Enjoy and we would love to see pics.
Hi everyone! Just got done registering and thought I'd Introduce myself. I live in northeast Wisconsin and have been a proud owner of a Calypso Coral 1970 351c 4v 4spd Mach1 for just over a year now. I previously owned a 70 coupe that I sold about 6yrs ago for parts only because I had taken it so far apart (about 11yrs ago) that my lack of skills, money, and ambition forced the sale so that I had some room in my garage . Things changed and now I've learned not to take anything apart that you cant fix in a week ....lol. The new car is a Texas car and was about 75% done when I bought it so I now have something to work with that I can handle. Still making mistakes but you can't learn without making some right? The picture below was at the Cool City Classic Car Show in my hometown in June 2010(my first show).
