1972 front spoiler
#1
Sorry guys 1 more question for now. Was the original front spoiler fiberglass ? I cant remember and there seems to be two types of replacements available. One being what seems to be plastic and looks fairly cheesey and the second is fiberglass and appears much nicer. Have any of you had to buy a replacement and what and where would you recomend getting one. I have searched and it appears there are several companys selling them.
thanks

I used a plastic one and it looks fine. I hadn't seen any fiberglass ones out there on the market but even if I had, I'd probably still go with the plastic as a chin spoiler is likely to get banged up at some point from paring blocks, dips. etc... so I wanted it to be inexpensive and also easy to replace.

The originals were plastic and somewhat flexible. The flexibility is a help when the piece is fitted to the car.
