Hi guys a new member from downunder. Just got myself a 73 Mach 1 in August. Have always wanted a 69-73 Mach 1. Saw it on ebay and watched it for a while. It didn't sell so went and had a look on Saturday, paid for it Monday afternoon and drove it home on Friday. You have to have the car complianced in Australia which basically means change the headlights and seat belts to Australian standards. I believe some states have different ideas concerning the rear indicator lights but where I am they can stay the same as they came with the car. Will be leaving it left hand drive. I am very happy with my purchase, I didn't want a project I wanted something that I could drive straight away. It came from California and I believe that I am the 3rd owner. I am just waiting on a build sheet from the Ford Customer Relationship Center. I think it is all matching numbers.

Welcome to the site. Sounds like you have a great Mach. Whats the regulations on the headlights?

If you are interested in originality give Marti Auto works a look (
www.martiauto.com). You can get a Marti report and or Eminger Invoice to obtain all of the original build and dealership information on your car. Wished I could get me a set of the Aussie Cleveland heads one of these days. I have heard nothing but good news about them.

You just need Australian bulbs which point to the other side of the road

Saw a set for sale a month or two ago for $60. I should have grabbed them but the missus hates me stockpiling parts
