Dont want to sound stupid but how do you get the lock cylinder out of the dash without the key.I know about the paperclip trick but I thought you had to have the key.I was going to go to local shop and see if he had any old for keys to see if I can fin one that works just to change the lock.Dont really want to drill it out.(last resort)

I wish I would've known about the paperclip trick.
The first thing I did to my Mach 1 was drill out the ignition lock cylinder... and while I was taking the driver seat out this weekend, I found the keys the previous owner had lost under the seat (pretty much embedded in what's left of the carpet). Grrrr!!!

Yes you have to have the key for the paperclip trick. Another place you might get lucky and old salvage yard may have a stash of keys and you would be surprised how easy it is to find one that will work.
