The beauty of playing video games is that they allow us to take out aggression and blow off steam without consequence. Sure there are first person shooters that allow you to blow-up everything in sight, but for my money, I’ll always go with a good adrenaline filled driver. Games like Forza Motor Sports III and the upcoming, yet always delayed Gran Turismo 5 provide great times if you want to race, but for those times that I feel like breaking the law, I go straight to games like the upcoming Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. The Need for Speed series from Electronic Arts has been around since 1994, and over the years they’ve mastered the art of the “Hot Pursuit” in a video game format. In their newest release due out this Tues. Nov 16th, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit gives gamers the opportunity to get their drive on by letting them play as either law enforcement, or the bad guys. NFS has also been able to create some of the best car crash sequences of any automotive game. The above video gives us just a little insight as to what we can expect when this game hits the shelves next week.
I also highly recommend Race Driver Grid, one of my favorite PC racing games, high quality video card makes this one outstanding!
