Dodge has finally sacked-up and put the Viper’s 600 hp V10 into the Challenger thus offering consumers a true drag-pak option if they want to go racing. Granted they’re only making 70 Challengers in this configuration, but I have a feeling that this exercise was done for another reason. Think about this for a moment. Dodge recently let out the numbers for it’s new 6.4-liter 392 HEMI and it supposedly makes 485 hp. Granted that number is nothing to snuff at, but compared to the Mustang Shelby GT500 which makes 550 hp, Dodge’s new HEMI still falls short.
