Dennis Anderson was the genius behind the Grave Digger monster truck, and one of the driving forces behind turning monster truck racing into a legitimate, televised and crowd-pleasing sport. He cashed in when Clear Channel Communications said, “We want to buy Grave Digger”, but Anderson hasn’t given up on hoontastic motorsport fun. In fact, his latest creation, called ‘King Sling’, may qualify as his wildest endeavor to date.
King Sling, is a tube frame mudder sporting a blown 540 cubic inch Chevy behind the driver. It’s damn loud, even in the video, and I imagine the thing would set off car alarms in the next county. Even though it’s got AWD, the huge tractor tires have no chance of getting all the power to the ground when Anderson stomps the fun pedal. I’d love to take a turn behind the wheel of this thing, as it looks like an ungodly amount of fun on or over any surface you can imagine.
