Hi i finally found a cool website to talk about my car. People at work are tired of me talking and asking questions. I have a 69 mach 1 with a 351 Windsor engine, the car had a 351 Cleveland in it and i still have the block in the car i just haven't had time to take it off. I'm thinking of staying with original engine 351w since value is a lot more if you keep it matching #s. I'm going to try to do a lot of the work myself and get a master rebuild kit for it. This will be my first build so I'm sure ill be asking a lot of questions later.
Well i want to say HI to all the fellow stang owners out there and hopefully take a drive with some of you some day.
PS I live in Hollister CA

Welcome to the club First Blood!
Sounds like you have an awesome car, how about some pictures!
If your building this car for yourself that's what matters most. Who knows with the economy limping how soon car values will rebound.
Glad to have you here and don't forget about the photos!

Welcome to the club. I bought a New 69 Mach1 351W right out of high school in 69. Great car! Wish I still had it. I now have a 69 Mach 1 428CJ C6 matching # that I rebuilt. Love it! Good luck and let me know if I can help. I may even have some parts. But I'm in OK, so it may not be too practicle. Never know.
Be sure you take pictures every day you work on it. You'll wish you did.
Love to see some pics now of the before.
Also tell us more about the car. Most of us are gear heads, so we like details.

Id love to own a 69-70 Mach 1 they are just to expensive now in any condition. The cheapest Ive been able to find one is about 7500 and if it had been any other car it would be in the junk yard.

Thank you, for allowing me to be a part of your club. I will post some pictures soon, but be warned the car is still in project mode. I'm trying to learn as much as i can to make a strong street car. Ive been reading a lot of the basic engine tread and want to express my gratitude 1972 Mach 1 for putting this information on here.
Dan Nichols i really like the color of your car
That's one of the most difficult choices i still haven't done and still not sure what to get. The original color was yellow but I'm leaning to a red with flat black hood.
Thank you once again for allowing me to be part of the herd

Thanks for being a part of the club, the members are most important to this site!!
Glad someone finds this stuff I add here useful. I know it may not seem like much but I devote many many hours hunting the internet trying to get this stuff in one place for all the members here. If its about Mach 1's it will be eventually here on this site
