First post to the club from a life long mustang fan. While researching some of the restoration information for my 72 Mach 1 I came across your website. Good to see a site dedicated to the Mach 1 equiped mustang. I am undergoing a full and complete restoration of my very first car that I have kept for 26 years. This was my first car and my second high school sweetheart after my wife. My car is a January 72 built Mach 1 originaly sold in Ogden, UT. It is Ivy glow with a black sports interior, 8-track stereo, sport wheel covers and rear defrost. It currently has a 351 Cobra Jet that I put in it in 1989, but I have a 351 H-code to put back in her. I have gathered allot of history on the car, but I am always looking for more. I have the original build sheet that I located under the passanger seat and I am trying to decode the various letter designations. I will keep in touch with the mach 1 community of the progress of the restoration as I move along. Soon it will join the stable with my 1967 Lime Gold GT fastback, factory 390 4-speed.

Nice stable of cool cars! Welcome to the site. Are you doing the restoration yourself? If so please help us out with a photo journal of the restoration. If you look the site over you will see that there is a category specifically for that! Glad to have you here and don't be a stranger!
You'll find the common theme now is going to be "We want Pictures!"
Thanks for taking the time to register!

Welcome to the Club from Virginia. Your lucky you found the build sheet, some of the stangs have a second one under the carpet.
Anyway post up some pictures including the build sheet.

Welcome to the site
Nothing compares to your first car. I wasn't lucky enough to have a Mach for a first car but I still own my 1st car and if something needs to be sold it would be the last to be going.
Hopefully you get a chance to post some pic's :)
