I'm a new member and thought I'd share some background with you. I live in Mustang Oklahoma and I've been building Fords and Mercurys since 1970. The current build is a 1972 Q code Mach 1. Other current cars are; 1969 Cougar Eliminator (G code), 1965 FIA COBRA (Shelby American), and 2007 Mustang GT (with Whipple HO). I've built and owned a bunch of cars over the years. Glad I found this site that has members interested in the 71-73 Mach 1.

Isn't Mustang, OK, where the Mustangs Across America Group stopped for an overnight?

Welcome from Claremore OK. Great cars! I made the show in Mustang in 08 but haven't made it back due to conflicting show schedules. Great Show!
Let me know if you are going to be in NE OK for any shows. Did you make the Mid America Shelby meet last weekend in Tulsa?

This is a great site - I find myself coming back over and over. Glad you are here. I have a 72 Q code too that is being rebuilt, restored, and restomod. I don't know if it should really be called a Q code anymore since the engine wasn't in the car but that its pedigree for what its worth.

Welcome to the site from beautiful British Columbia, Canada!
I sure don't know much about these vintage Machs, but there are a ton of folks here that do!
We do love pics, though...put 'em up, baby!
