72 mach 1 from france

Hi everybody
My name is patrick rondat I live in france.. I always loved american muscle cars I owned a 74 firebird for 17 years and recently sold it to buy my dream car ..a 72 mach 1 ( a 71 429 would be even better but too rare here and out of my budget!!)
So it's an all original car no respray , no rust only two previous owners , with 117000 Km on the clock ( DSO 90 export model with odometer in KM)
color code 3j bright blue metallic and GB interior medium blue all vinyl luxury mach 1 .the engine is a 351 CJ Q code C6 auto and 3,25 traction lock axle..
I have no plan, to restore it , I want to keep that way as much as possible, I will have to change lifters timing hoses belts etc..
I guess that's it for now..

Welcome to the Club from Virginia! Sounds like a nice car to buy; it's getting harder to find nice, original, unrestored older Mustangs.

yep especially here..gas always been so expensive ..Not so much US cars from the 70 's but people into it.. are faithfull and dedicaded to there passion.. Of course in the 80's most of these cars have been raced, modified, madmaxified!! so find a car original is very hard. I was lucky looking for a 71 72 mach 1 for years.. finally found that one in a mustang show room The previous owner bought it in ..1981!! he was the second owner,the first bought it in march 1972 .So he is more than 70 years old and had to retire and did felt like driving the car didn't have the room to keep it he was sad to sell it..
This car always been in a garage I couldn't spot any rust..even in the trunk ,wheel house or what ever
the enginebay is almost stock exept the coil I will replace by a stock one.

you as a kid I grew up close to paris and when I was 12 one of my neighbours friend just show up in a brand new 72 mach I never forget that..I knew I will have one ..it took a while but I ve done it..

Incredible to find one like that. 38 yrs old, only 117k and still drivable and dependable. Congratulations!! Beautiful!
