Hi
My name is Jimmy Tassinfrom Laplace, Louisianna. That's about 35 miles northwest of New Orleans up I-10. My daughter gave me an original matching numbers 1972 ford mustang Mach 1 about 3 years ago. Within a couple of weeks the mustang was stripped and began restoration. The car was an original light pewter mach 1 w/351 cj engine auto w/3:25 locking rear end. I began stripping it and found a lot of rust under the floorbards and thus began the restoration. It's been 3 years since I've started. The body has been stripped soda blasted, repaired/replaced rusted panels, primed , and now finally painted. Hope to get it back this week. I still have in a lot to do. My goal is to have it completed in 2 more years. Any tips on the further restoration is appreciated. Some advice on tires & rims would be appreciated; also front suspension.
Thanks,
Jimmy T.
