Corvette’s chief engineer, Tadge Juechter is letting us know how he deals with publication rumors of what the new C7 Corvette will be. He explains that journalists will read his reactions to questions that are asked of him and based on his response, they’ll simply guesstimate what they think he’s trying to say. It’s really like the celebrity tabloids, but for automobiles. The more they sensationalize, the more magazines they’ll sell and in a time where everything is published online, they need to do everything they can to stay in business. He then goes on to tell us that we WILL NOT be seeing a watered down automobile in the form of the C7. For enthusiasts, that comment is like seeing the gold at the end of the rainbow.
