When I first met my wife I was driving a 1968 Dodge Dart Gt. Had this while I was going to college so it had a LOT OF MEMORIES!!!
So when we got married she made me sell it - to many ex-girl friend ties. So we bought a 1975 Mustang Mach 1, white with black racing stripes.
For the last 14 years I had a 1963 Ford Falcon Futura convertible, straight 6, automatic. It was a nice car, but I got bored with it and sop going to shows and cruises.
My wife encouraged me to sell it and get something else. I always wanted a muscle car - another Mustang Mach 1, but the asking prices for a 1969 or 70 Mach 1 was out of my range. So I did some research and found that Mach 1 was reintroduced for 2003 & 2004. So I went hunting for a 40th anniversary Mach 1 and found a white one with black stripes and the prices was reasonable. So now I am in the process of restoring it. Being retired, I have the time to work on it and taking it to shows. It is not a trophy winner, but I enjoy it. Love the sound of the exhaust and the shaker hood moving an I put on the gas!! Awh..... feel young again!
