Is there a possibility the door glass is from a coupe? As the coupe and convertible have a more up right windshield then the fastback does which would make the glass longer on the front edge? Sounds like you got a door glass for a coupe. It could be the door itself came off a coupe,as the door is the same. But the glass is different. JTS 71 Mach1

Well here's all what happened.

I had a friend repaint car , when in the process he found the drivers door in need of replacement , so a new 69 mach 1 door was ordered from NPD and he installed the glass and the door. So there shouldn't be an issue there.
My problem is he lives 6 hrs away from me and his cell is now off , so i have no way to reach him about this issue.

Leasson here don't use some one that far away for car work period. friend or other wise.
