I snagged this info off a website that hadn't been updated since 2000 so I'm making a guess here. I think that date means that this color was only available on models up until 4/69. Maybe it wasn't available after that or considered limited. I'm not the authority on this stuff. So if nothing else at least this information prompts discussion. Thru that process I'm hoping this thread eventually gathers enough information to finally have all the correct information provided for anyone in the future that may need this. Please always feel you can correct me when I'm wrong.

Hmmm, not trying to step on toes , but my car is Ac blue and built 5/15/69.
I just haven`t heard that before, thats why I was asking.

You got me curious now bro! Ill find this answer!! It is also possible that this is incorrect regarding 4/69.

There may be something to the date. I have found some decoders that don't list acapulco blue. Our '69 is acapulco blue with a scheduled build date of 01/29/69.

Does anyone here actually own a Pastel Grey 1969 Mach 1??

FYI...
The car you show as pastel gray looks exactly like my 1st car. It was a Wimbledon White Mach 1 with the red stripes and dark red interior. I don't think that car is pastel gray.

Just guessing from the Marti report it says that 89 were painted with special paint? It would depend on if there were other colors that were considered "Special" maybe your Yellow was the only "Special" color??? According to the color chart. I see 3 colors listed with double ** which denotes Spring Colors. The only one showing the bright Yellow as in your pics is available on the Boss 302 only???  So I'm not sure if your car came that color or not??? Maybe someone else here will have the answer?
