California evaporative emissions - Limeyboy - 01-23-2021

Hi,

As I'm in the UK does anyone know the best way to remove the evaporative emissions from my trunk as I don't need it and want to stop any risk of fumes if the pipes leak ( there are lots of 50 year old pipes! in the trunk!)
I don't want to try and take it off the top of the tank until I know I can seal it up safely  Huh

cheers

Jeff

Man that's some wild looking evap system. I've never seen anything like that, on any cars??? I've lived in the Midwest half of the US all my life, and while I know there are differences in various California emissions, equipment, and regulations. But I ain't never seen nothing like that!  Confused Hopefully someone here knows what you're looking at, and how to deal with it. Good Luck.
