69 mach 1 - rust & hole on rear frame rail - rindel - 04-15-2020
I'm looking for some advise on how to repair this rear driver side frame rail with as little work as possible to avoid messing up the paint job and trunk bottom. Do i have to replace a section or can I weld in a patch on the bottom of the frame rail?

It's worth a shot. Hopefully it won't disintegrate on you when you start grinding. If it does you may chase it all the way up to the trunk floor, before it stops. Good Luck here's hoping.

I guess if it hasn't ripped out by now it must still have strength there so maybe try a patch welded in?
