Shoulder Harness - BLACK JADE 69 - 08-29-2019

[attachment=12952]
Getting down to finishing everything up on the 69. Needing new ones of these. Not seeing anyone who
reproduces them. I have read that dyeing them weakens the material. Any ideas on where I can get new
or better ones? Thanks

Most people just clean them with a mild soap and water.  They are not being reproduced to match original.  There are 3-point retractable kits for these cars with buckles similar to original sold through Scott Drake.  But be forewarned, the retractor assembly for the front seats are larger than original and stops the seats from being able to move fully rearward.  I couldn't use them as I need the seat as far back as possible so my knees do not hit the steering wheel.  So I reinstalled my original seat belts.

You can try Perogie Enterprises for used and maybe some NOS seat belts.  They specialize in used original and NOS parts for Mustangs.

Thanks for the replies. I may have to bite the bullet on go with the new ones from the Cougar guy. He has
a really informative YouTube video on taking them apart and cleaning them. All of mine came out really well
except these two. I think I will call and see if he will just do these for me and not a whole set. I also checked
Perogie with no luck.

West Coast Classic Cougars might be your best option for originals.  He's an OEM type of guy and has many good and informative videos for these cars.
