Hey Gary, Very nice Mach1, very good condition. Like Mustang Mike said, it's nice to have one that doesn't need everything! I always wanted a 429 in mine. But I built a 500hp 351 Cleveland instead. It was a handful and a blast to drive. Just wish I'd of kept it. Good Luck with the paint Job. Hope it comes out great. Keep us posted.

Jack

Thumbup   It's nice to have a car that is not a major restoration project.  Have you already made arrangements have someone paint it?  I would suggest replacing the rear shackles and installing shackles that are out of view.  It is a cleaner look, especially after the car is painted.  They make heavy duty shackles that are probably much stronger than the ones on your car now and you won't see them.  Although, it may change your ride height so be careful.  If you are unsure check with someone who knows.

Otherwise, you got a nice MACH 1.
Will do a bit more prep in spring then to paint shop for final prep and paiont  will think about shackles  Its a fun car to drive   I have a real nice 1978 vette with cam but will sell it   This one is more fun. gary

I would say that was a real good deal. Sounds like the guy needed a truck pretty badly!

Evidently both parties are happy.  Great deal.

I think you'd call that a Win Win. for everyone concerned.
