Welcome Gary Nice score on a 1971 Mach 1, I myself had a 71 years ago, and got rid of it, back when it wasn't worth anything. Now I wish I'd have kept it. Please ask any, and all questions as the the Guy's on here are good people, and have tons of knowledge. Any Pictures cause we all love Pictures! Once again,  SSig_welcome4

Welcome aboard! I like the color combination your choosing for paint.  Do you think the car will be ready for driving this summer?

Welcome Gary,

Sure sounds like our new Mach 1 should be a real Hoss (power house)!

Looking forward to hearing more details.

Yup, your pictures of your car uploaded.  The car looks good and the big block fits just right in that bay. Thumbup   It's nice to have a car that is not a major restoration project.  Have you already made arrangements have someone paint it?  I would suggest replacing the rear shackles and installing shackles that are out of view.  It is a cleaner look, especially after the car is painted.  They make heavy duty shackles that are probably much stronger than the ones on your car now and you won't see them.  Although, it may change your ride height so be careful.  If you are unsure check with someone who knows.

Otherwise, you got a nice MACH 1.
