1969 Raven Black 390 Looking For - mason1958 - 10-24-2016

I had an 1969 Mach 1 390 4 speed a long time ago. It was purchased in Monroe, NC and I took it home to Wadesboro, NC and that's where it remained for many years and had 3 owners. It was sold to a gentleman in South Carolina in the 80's I think. I would love to track this car down and at least see what its looks like :). Also if I remember correctly when it was sold it had a 351 in not the original 390. Thanks Mason

Ah yes, the ones that got away!

Anyone know anything?

I don't recall any car that fits that description passing through these pages but ..

An S code 4 speed car is the one you wish you didn't let get away. Then again hindsight is always 20/20!

[color=#050505][size=small]I'm looking for 1969 Raven Balck Mach 1. the car was bought in Monroe, NC and then traded in Wadesboro, NC. Then sold to a gentleman from SC late seventies. The care was a 4-speed with a am with an 8 track. The original dash pad would have had 2 holes for a water and oil gauge. The original 390 was not in the care it would have a 351W. I have no vin just looking for a needle in a haystack. Also the car did not have louvers on the rear window. It was deluxe interior and had speakers in the door. Car would have had Crager mag wheels. The car would have been ordered to the Charlotte NC district. The Mach 1 stripe would have been gold reflective.

Wow talk about a needle in a haystack! 6 Years later, and you're still looking? Did you ever find any leads at all??? Most usually a friend at the DMV might help??? Perhaps in the last state registered? Wish I could help more.

Yeah I've heard that as well as several states have records back to a similar time. What I, and some others have found, is that they go back to the mid ninety's on computer. But in the basement of a record storage building, etc. are all the old paper records. Now getting someone to get off their rear end, and to get them to go searching for earlier records could be like pulling Chicken's Teeth !  Laughing

Good Luck.
