New to Mach 1 Club - Votman - 07-01-2015

I'm new to the club. Out searching for resources to restore my son's 1970 Mach 1. He will probably become a member later. I used to own two 1971 Mach 1 Mustangs back in the 80's but let them slip away along with a 1964 Falcon Sprint. We decided to locate a Mustang for my oldest son and my younger son will take over my first car which is a 1974 Gran Torino Sport. The 70 Mach 1 will be quite the project as it has rust in the floor pans, torque boxes, and frame rails. We will need lots of advice.

Welcome from Ohio

Welcome.

That is a nice looking "original" find.

The guys here are keen to help and we have several "dyed in the wool" 70 owners who know every nut and bolt.

Don (above) will be one of your best go to guys for parts or parts advice.

Feel free to share some 74 Gran Torino pictures as well.

Here's hoping we see son number one come along and join just any time!

Welcome to the site. It looks like you found a nice and complete project car. Like Steven indicated, there are a lot of members here with plenty of experience who can give you good advice on the restoration process.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures of the car as you tackle the job.
