Hello everyone. I am a new member and a Mustang enthusist. I currently have a 65 convertable, Just bought a 73 Mach1 that is in the paint shop as of yesterday and just bought a 72 mach1 That I just started on this week. It has a lot of rust on the inner fenders and all of that need to be replaced along with the radiator support. The interior is great with no damage. The car has been in storage for about 14 years so it does not show a lot of wear on the interior. Hope to have one of my cars completed in a few months.

Hello guys and gals!
I am glad that I found a site for Mach 1's. I recently purchased my 1973 Mach 1 in May of 2010. I had her placed on a car carrier and brought to my home in Brunswick, Ohio. I have begun the restoration of this lady and this is my first restoration. I have always loved mustangs and the beauty that each one brings when you see them riding on the road or in car shows. I had come to the conclusion that I bought the ugly step-child of the mustang family because I could not find much help or many good things being said about the 73's. Well I can say this that when I see them (1971 - 1973) Mach 1's I see the last of the true muscle cars and I am proud to bring her back to her wonders and beauty of what was truly a fabulous decade of cars (1964 - 1973).
I look forward to to getting to know all of you and to be able to ask and share information as this restoration process begins.
Thanks for having this site available for me,

First post to the club from a life long mustang fan. While researching some of the restoration information for my 72 Mach 1 I came across your website. Good to see a site dedicated to the Mach 1 equiped mustang. I am undergoing a full and complete restoration of my very first car that I have kept for 26 years. This was my first car and my second high school sweetheart after my wife. My car is a January 72 built Mach 1 originaly sold in Ogden, UT. It is Ivy glow with a black sports interior, 8-track stereo, sport wheel covers and rear defrost. It currently has a 351 Cobra Jet that I put in it in 1989, but I have a 351 H-code to put back in her. I have gathered allot of history on the car, but I am always looking for more. I have the original build sheet that I located under the passanger seat and I am trying to decode the various letter designations. I will keep in touch with the mach 1 community of the progress of the restoration as I move along. Soon it will join the stable with my 1967 Lime Gold GT fastback, factory 390 4-speed.

Hey everyone, I recently bought(about 3 months back) a 2003 Dark Shadow Grey Ford Mustang Mach 1 5 speed, and I've been looking to become a member to a great Mach 1 site and I am pleased to say I found one. I'll keep on posting new threads as time comes.
