well, i am not good at computers but here goes. i have a '70 mach bright gold metallic- 4bbl cleveland-4 speed- ginger interior. spoilers but no slats,a/c, manual brakes and steering and was wondering how many more gold mach's are around, i have only seen one other at a show in ok years ago. it was windsor powered. i have had my car since 1982, i am 2nd. owner. restored back then. have put only 6000 miles an the car in that time period. my stable includes 69 vert, 66 vert, 68 fastback, 65 coupe, 63 1/2 427 galaxie. hope to enjoy this site. my dream would to have a gold boss 302,r- code 428scj and if ever built a boss 429 all gold! will need a winning lottery ticket for that though.

Been Looking for a site like this for sometime. My Family and I are well versed in our Mustangs. We have our own collection and can always bond with those who share the same passion. I am 40 and my oldes son is just now 16 years old and just started High School, We have picked up a 1969 Mach1 M code project car and the goal is to have it ready before his Senior Year We also are in possesion of a 1973 Mach1 CJ Ram Air, Equipt with a Cleveland, A/C & 4spd. This one is getting ready to go under the knife to square away the interior. These to compliment our other Mustangs to include 1966 GT, Also an A/C 4spd car ,1965 "A" code Convertable, last but certainly not least a 2006 GT. We are charter members of our local Mustang club in Jacksonville Fla.

Howdy folks! I'm an official member of the Mach Club now!

I'm still restoring a 72 Coupe, but decided to get something a little more complete to toy around with while the restoration crawls along. So here she is!

1971 Mach1 with a 306cid and a C4 tranny. It already has a few nice mods like Global West tubular upper control arms and coils, Edelbrock intake, Holley 600cfm carb, chrome headers...more to come, right now I gotta get out there and install a new Pertronix Ignitor II Billet Distributor and Flame Thrower epoxy coil. It currently runs good but I just want a little more bang for the buck!

  1969 Mach 1 351w
Posted by: First Blood - 08-19-2010, 03:00 AM - Forum: WELCOME ALL NEW MEMBERS INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE ! - Replies (8)

Hi i finally found a cool website to talk about my car. People at work are tired of me talking and asking questions. I have a 69 mach 1 with a 351 Windsor engine, the car had a 351 Cleveland in it and i still have the block in the car i just haven't had time to take it off. I'm thinking of staying with original engine 351w since value is a lot more if you keep it matching #s. I'm going to try to do a lot of the work myself and get a master rebuild kit for it. This will be my first build so I'm sure ill be asking a lot of questions later.

Well i want to say HI to all the fellow stang owners out there and hopefully take a drive with some of you some day.
PS I live in Hollister CA

Hello! I am a newly proud owner of a 2003 Azure Blue Mach 1 Big Grin . I have had her for two months now. I told myself that I would never be that person who washes their car every week. Or the person who parks a mile from the shopping centers entrance. I have always admired Mustangs and my Mach is the first to my name. I am so proud and can't wait to customize her in a classy way!! I am glad to be a member of The Mach 1 Club now so that I may talk with others who understand my interest!

New to the Mach 1 club and working on being a new Mach 1 owner
Posted by: Oneshot976 - 07-27-2010, 09:14 AM - Forum: WELCOME ALL NEW MEMBERS INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE ! - Replies (16)

Hello everyone. I am new to the site and hopefully will be new to the Mach 1 owners group. I have located a 1969 Mach 1. It is a full "frame off" restoration and I really want it.

The biggest hold up for me is that is doesn't have the original engine. According to the Marti report it is a true Mach 1 and was a Windsor car originally and has had a Windsor put back in it.

I really feel like this is a great opportunity to get a perfect car otherwise but I struggle with the engine not being the original. Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
