I wanted to put som information on my Stang in here, and som pictures.

The car is a Mach-1 429 Super Cobra Jet with Ram Air (drag pack)

I bought it in 1987 and it only has 45000 miles on the odometer and is a number match car.
I usually get comments like: when are you going to buy a spoilers for the car, why dosen't it have stripe on the side, where is the tinted glass, etc........

The thing is that this was how the car is orderd from the factory and I'm not going to change that, because that's what makes it special!

The special orderd parts where: 429cid Super Cobra Jet 375hp engine, Toploader four speed close ratio transmission, 9" rearend with 31 spiline axels and 4,11:1 gear ratio with a No Spin lock an "N" carrier.
The car was also orderd with 15" magnum 500 wheels and F60X15 Oval Belted Raised White Letter Tires, Power Front Disc Brakes, AM radio and full dash with Tachometer, oilpressur, ammeter and waterheat.

And it was orderd throug: Di Blasi Motors INC, Corona NY.

According to the Marti report the car is one of 531 with 429SCJ engine and Drag Pack.

Here are the pictures:

Very cool! Keep the photos coming! Your a guy that actually put it in the right place! Bow
Dang - I bet that is the only Twister over there.
Great looking Mach!!!

Is that an alarm lock in the left front fender?
Great car you have.....amazing how original that it is and that you aren't afraid to enjoy it :)

So who won the race in this shot

I wanna bet for the 70 but I am guessing I am going to loose that bet :)
No you'r right the 1970 won.:-/

A friend of mine was driving my car and I was taking pictures.

The yellow 1970 Mach-1 is not a "Twister", it's only the stickers, but it had on this picture a 351cid Windsor stroked to 427cid, 10,5:1 Compression Probe Pistons, 4340 steel stroker krank, Eagle H beam roads, Crane Hydrolic roller cam, Eddelbrock aluminum heads, MSD ignition, Holley doublepumper carb, Hooker headers, 10" 3500 stall Converter full manual C6 trans, 3,73:1 gear ration and NoSpin locker.
Best ET on it was 11,98sek@113mph on ET Streets.

Now he has almost the same engine exept he has 408cid stroker.

Mine is Original 429SCJ With Holley factory replacement carb for NHRA Stock Eliminator, Mallory Unilite Ignition, Hooker 2 1/8" headers, with Hays 11" flywheel, Mcleod copper blend disck and Mcleod 11" racing pressure plate 3500", 4,11:1 gear ratio and NoSpin lock.
Stock suspention system and 275X60X15 street radials.
My car was doing about 13,90 sek @ 101mph.

And yes it is an alarm lock on the left fender, I still keep it on the car alltough it dosn't work because people are allways aksing me what it is and I'm allways telling them som BS like it's a remot starting unit or somthing.
One asked me if it did put an electric current in the body, and I just sayd yes!!!!!!

By the way, the Yellow 1970 Mach-1 is a daily driver over the summer time.

Later.
The alarm lock probably dates back to the 70's; I remember that's how they use to install them! Makes it look more period correct! Now just add a CB antenna on it like my 73 and you'll be all set.

Now when the summer is over here up in the grate white north, I thought it was a good idea to update with som new pictures that I shot this summer.

I found a large wall with graffiti on an I thought it was a good idea to shoot a picture of the Stang in front of it.

The Icelandic Tunderbird Club had a cruize and the invited som other car clubs, and I shot this photo there.

More of my pictures can be seen on: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ice-art

More later.

Beautiful car! (I'm partial to red 429 Mach 1s...)

Are you sure your 4-speed is a close ratio? I seem to remember only the wide ratio being available on 429 cars.
