my 1973 Mustang Covertible is finally finished! They have been working on the car since June 2009. I plan on picking it up tomorrow (Thursday). I hope to post some pics soon! Can't wait to get her home! Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

SOunds like great news :) Can't wait to see the after pictures. Will we get to see any "during" pictures???
I've got plenty of before and during pics, not sure there is enough server space here if I posted them all! Roflmao1

All removable parts were removed and media blasted/stripped; including under the trunk lid and under the hood. All the doors, trunk lid, hood, front fenders, front and rear valance, quarter panel fillers, front edge of hood, headlight moulding, etc. were painted off the car for best results. The door window mechanisms, door latches, door locks, door handles, trunk lock, all trim, chrome, etc. were all removed (some of the pics below were taken before the door lock latches were removed). If it wasn't welded on, it came off the car!

Here are a few pictures. I will probably create an album and post quite a few of the detailed pictures.

I picked my 73 Convert up this afternoon. Precision Auto Body, Manassas, VA, did a fantastic job! It was a sunny day here in the upper 60's, so I put the top down and drove it home, about a 30 Mile trip! My son followed me home in my 04 Mach 1, so we drew some attention on the way!

I hope to upload some pictures later and post them up.
I'll keep them in mind whenever I get the 72 sprint repainted. The car is rust free.
My 73 is/was rust free too, except for rust around the tail lights. I remember when the car was new in 1973 you could see primer above the tail lights. I had Precision replace the tail light panel instead of repair. Pictures later!
Where are those pictures you keep talking about :)
The question is how much? For just the paint work that is. My sprint conv body is pretty straight and rust free so it would only need a few minors dings repaired.[attachment=1198]

Yeah, I'm behind on uploading and posting pictures. I've hardly had time to touch the car since I picked it up. I have some pictures in the driveway that I will try to post this weekend. Interior is still mostly out and need to have the new top installed, but the paint looks great. Here's a couple till later:
