Good luck with that one. Junk yards or Ebay are your best bet. I think only about 5% of the cars had power windows.

I see them pop up on eBay every once in a while. I had thought about converting to power windows on my 73 Convertible so it would be easier when I put the top down. If you make the conversion make sure you take lots of step-by-step pics and post them up!

The weird thing is the convertibles had the fewest.
I would have thought just the opposite.
For example:
73 coupe 2087
73 fb 2422
73 conv 1360

Interesting statistics! I agree, you would think electric windows would be more popular for the convertibles for convienience when putting the power top down!

It seems that the correct switches are the most important part since they show from outside the panel. I was able to locate a nos set with harness but the guy refuses to sell because it is his last one and he uses as a refernce for repairs. I will try to plead with him again in a few weeks. It seems to me that the switches may have been outsourced and if anyone has any info as to that let me know. I have seen some cars that used the existing cranks as switches but the storries did not go into detail, any ideas?
