Mach 1 Club

Weird thing, this has only happened twice. For some reason comming out of third gear the shifter got lost in limbo, It was stuck and I couldn't move it very much, wouldn't go into neutral and it seamed to be stuck between third and neutral. I went below the car and moved the 3 4 rod back and then it was ok. Its a Toploader with Hurst competition plus. Any ideas?

Sorry Jeff Im clueless with Top Loader transmissions. Heck Im clueless over all trannies , hopefully someone knows that answer for you.

I know a few things about my C4 Automatic tranny, but no help with a top-loader. Good luck with the diagnosis!
