Quote:The original Mach 1 was one of the most collectable Mustangs ever. It was named “the quickest four-person production car” by Car Life magazine in a March 1969 road test. Production will be limited to 6,500 numbered editions, making the 2003 model a collectible as well.

Too bad the production models did not come with the shorty antenna!
Looks better of course with these touches:

Honeycomb panel
Red Mach1 over Ford emblem
Honeycomb pattern on tail lights.[attachment=989]

Later on I added a Mustang Mach1 decal on the third brake light.
Looks good, I haven't seen the honeycomb on the taillights before. Where did you find those.
I just bought a decal kit on Ebay and applied them. It came out pretty good.
Honey Comb Panel looks great :) Wish I was brave enough to purchase one and install it :)
The panel was a breeze to install - just double sided tape.

Probably have to remove the Mach 1 and Ford emblem and reapply too, buts that not too hard either.

Thats the part thats keeping me from making the purchase. I know they would come right off but I just don't want to remove them :)
Gentlmen, I just added a black running pony grille emblem, black stainless steel bumber inserts, and a black bullitt style fuel door to my 03 Mach 1. It looks sooooo much better. I plan on getting black or smoked head & tail lights next, & black bullitt style wheels. American Muscle has a lot of good products with install instructions. Has anyone had any bad experiences with black or smoked head lights?
