This older gent was newly retired, and had just purchased a new GT 500 with part of his retirement funds. Not having a wife or kids to worry about he felt he deserved it. While out on his new beauty's maiden run, he exceeded the speed limit severly, 127 in a 70. The Arizona State Trooper was not overly impressed. He said sir it's Friday, my shifts almost over, and if you can come up with an orignal excuse, that I haven't already heard. I'll let you slide this time! ????? The man thought a bit, and said. Well many years ago I had a wife, and she ran off with an Arizona State Trooper. I was afraid you were trying to bring her back!!!
