Happy Saturday Everyone,

I’m new to this Club. I have a 1970 Mach1 (Nugget Gold Metallic) S code.
I’m hoping someone can give me some information on the call out numbers on the hood. How do you know if your car came with those?

Thank you,

Goldenbear4
Well first off  SSig_welcome4 to the Club! Lots of good people, and lots of info. Don't be afraid to jump in, as the only dumb question is the one that isn't asked! Now for what you asked. There should be a door tag, I believe it's on the back edge of the drivers door it will give several different codes such as eng, trans, interior, body, axle, etc. each one having a number or letter code. If you look up a Mustang decoder it will tell you what your car was born with. In the unlikely case your door tag is not original? Then you will have to use the VIN number visible through the windshield. Either way you should be able to figure out what you have. Good Luck. Cool

Here is a pic of my buck tag.

I’m not sure what…

AC TT DE CL RM stand for.

Any help in deciphering these codes would be great.

Respectfully,

Goldenbear4
Hey Goldenbear, Her is probably the most complete list  of body, eng, trans and interior codes I've ever seen for a 70 Mustang. But as I stated it corresponds to the tag on the Drivers Door. Not the buck tag off the inner fender, cowl or radiator support. I wasn't able to find a difinitive decoder for the "buck " tag. Hope it helps. I know those buck tags meant something to the people assembling the car on the assembly line. But just exactly what that is?????

Thank you JTS71 I appreciate the help.
I can’t wait to really start working on her and
Find out all the history of this car.

Thank you again.

Just and FYI, if the door tag is missing, Marti Auto Works is licensed by Ford to recreate them.  They basically just need the VIN from your car.
